UI Developer
Summary
The UI Developer position is responsible for building high quality front-end features for our Social Marketing Hub. The UI Developer will work closely with product management, development, and QA within an iterative software development process. It is the UI Developer's responsibility to deliver beautiful, high quality front end code, to maintain global styles and UI standards, and to work closely with others in designing new functionality.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for all front end coding for our product
- Work on User stories to design new functionality
- Pair with development to ensure we are presenting our functionality in the best possible way
- Actively seek and suggest better way of doing things
- Provide thought leadership by keeping up to date with latest technologies, trends and standards and disseminating to others
We are passionate about our product and the evolving technologies we use to build them. The UI Developer will need to share our passion for craftsmanship in software design and development and continuous improvement in the techniques, tools and languages we use, as well as have an appreciation for business objectives and delivering superior, innovative software.
Knowledge, skills, abilities
- Strong Working Knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, AJAX and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., jQuery)
- "Product" user interface development experience – not just websites
- Experience with Agile/iterative software processes
- Strong understanding of HTML
- Extensive knowledge of CSS, including CSS driven layout and debugging for rapid development
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari)
- Strong understanding of web standards and usability
- Great design eye
- Strong written and verbal communications skills

.NET Developer

This position will focus on the design and implementation of SaaS-based consumer software in the social media space. Our ideal candidate is a developer with a solid computer science foundation, an analytical mind, a passion for creating great experiences, and who thrives in building software for a changing and growing market.
This is a great position for someone who thrives in a smaller, Agile environment. Our work environment is casual, flexible, and team-oriented, but reliant on folks owning results and solutions. It's a kick a$$ team!
Your Qualifications:
- Two to six years of experience developing in .NET/C#
- Proficiency in SQL
- Strong engineering skills and write well-structured, easily maintainable code
- Enjoy working in an iterative/agile process, test-driven development, and couldn't imagine working any other way
- Be a team player who feels at home in a small team, open and flat environment
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated to try new languages and technologies to solve hard problems
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field
- SaaS-based application development, cloud or mobile experience a plus
