Engagement, Foursquare, WordPress -- Oh My! Awareness Takes the Social Marketing Hub to the Next Level by Offering Location Based Connections and Aggregation of Conversations
The Awareness Social Marketing Hub includes channel support for WordPress and foursquare and adds new Engage module to monitor conversations around specific social marketing campaigns
BURLINGTON, Mass (June 15, 2010) — Awareness, Inc., provider of enterprise-grade, on-demand social marketing management software, today announced the addition of several new feature updates to their flagship product, the Awareness Social Marketing Hub. The Hub is the first enterprise-grade application for marketers to publish, manage and measure marketing campaigns across key social media channels. As part of this latest release, the Awareness Social Marketing Hub has added support for two new channels, giving enterprise marketers the ability to publish marketing content to WordPress and foursquare directly from the Hub. And with the new Engage module, marketers are now able to monitor and react to conversations that are happening around the social marketing campaigns they’ve launched through the Hub.
“Companies are struggling to keep up with and track what’s being said about their published content across all their social channels,” said Mark Cattini, Chief Executive Officer, Awareness, Inc. “The addition of Engage rounds out the Hub to not only allow marketers to publish, manage and measure all their social marketing activity from one central location, but now they are able to engage directly with users who are interacting with that content, offering a complete end-to-end solution.”
Engage Aggregates Fragmented Conversations into a Single Location
Marketers understand that when publishing content across multiple social channels, it's very difficult to track what is being said, who is saying it, and what the nature of that comment is. Logging in to each social channel to read and respond to every comment, and particularly to identify positive and negative comments, is time consuming and tedious, and comments and company responses are not stored centrally, making it hard to see what’s been said.
The new Engage module in the Awareness Social Marketing Hub gives marketers the ability to interact directly with the people who are talking about their social marketing campaigns. Now, when publishing content using the Hub, marketers are able to:
- See what people are saying about that content - Every comment made on every post through the Hub is reviewable from within the Hub interface. Comments from different social networking channels are aggregated into one place for quick review.
- Automatically measure sentiment - The Hub automatically measures the sentiment of each comment so marketers can quickly and easily find and react to both the good and the bad.
- Engage directly - Hub users can respond to comments and engage with the people who are talking about that content from within the Hub.
- Reporting and analysis - All comments and responses are stored within the Hub for reporting and analysis purposes.
New Channel Support
foursquare: Centralize and simplify the management of multiple venues
The Awareness Social Marketing Hub now offers groundbreaking benefits to enterprises that are looking to use foursquare as part of the marketing mix. The Hub centralizes the management of all your venues in foursquare and makes it easy to publish Tips to all venues at once, or a targeted segment. The system allows marketers to tie foursquare marketing programs to physical point of sale activities – something that has proven to be difficult to accomplish in the broader social web.
The foursquare channel within the Hub allows enterprise marketers to:
- Simplify the process of publishing Tips to multiple foursquare venues with a single click. With the Awareness Social Marketing Hub, you can publish Tips to 1 or 1,000 foursquare venues simply and easily. These Tips will be shown to users who are checking in to your venues or near your venues.
- Centralize your venue management and group multiple venues under one centralized system.
- Cross-promote your marketing content across foursquare, Twitter, Facebook, WordPress and more, using the same one-step publishing process offered through the Hub.
WordPress: Publish and manage all blog activities from one central location
The Awareness Social Marketing Hub now gives marketers the ability to add one or all of its corporate and even its employee blogs to the Hub allowing them to centralize all blog activities from one location.
The WordPress channel within the Hub allows enterprise marketers to:
- Publish posts directly to WordPress blogs from within the Awareness Social Marketing Hub
- Aggregate activity statistics from your WordPress posts with the rest of your social marketing efforts
- Manage comments with Engage on WordPress blog posts from within the Awareness Social Marketing Hub alongside comments from other social marketing channels
“foursquare is hot and growing in popularity as adoption rates skyrocket. Enterprise organizations see the value in adding foursquare to their social marketing mixes, but are struggling with how to adopt and manage the popular location-based service for their business,” said David Carter, CTO and Founder, Awareness, Inc. “We recognized this need for venue management and now fully support the service giving marketers the ability to publish tips to 1 or 1000 foursquare venues directly from the Hub.”
