Social Data Strategist

Awareness builds social marketing management software for marketers leveraging multiple social channels to engage with customers, build and monitor their brand, and increase revenues. Built upon Awareness' deep expertise powering the social media strategies of over 200 brands including Fox, Comcast (NBC Universal), MLB and EMC, the Awareness Social Marketing Hub helps marketers engage, monitor, score and analyze their marketing activities and indentify Social Profiles to be converted to customers.

Objectives

Awareness is looking for a talented individual to join our Services team.  Members of the Services team are responsible for driving success for new and existing customers by providing guidance and solutions with their digital marketing initiatives using Awareness’ Social Hub platform.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with internal strategy defining success metrics, launch plans, best practices, etc.
  • As a key partner to a customer’s Digital Marketing/Social Media team you will be tasked with the following:
  • Onboard new team members to the platform – setup, training, etc
  • Analyze data from digital marketing initiatives, including social media, to provide input on ongoing strategy, success criteria and action plans (campaigns, etc.)
  • Recommend strategy or ‘change in course direction’ for continuous improvement of outlined initiatives
  • Provide reports, both existing and custom, to highlight the performance and trends
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all our customers and partners
  • Work closely with other teams within Awareness to identify and report defects, to validate enhancement requests, and to help prioritize and escalate issues
  • Provide enterprise level review of Social Hub product and related solutions
  • Complete professional services tasks as required

Essential Skills
  • Has agency experience and is well versed in social media channels and strategy
  • Excellent problem solving skills for both technical and business issues alike
  • Communicates well with customers – is a good listener who can map out customer needs and help customers achieve their goals
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative, at both a macro and micro level, analytical skills with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation that maps back to customer’s success metrics
  • To be a self-starter with a background in working with small cross-functional teams
  • The ability to self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with customers, management and co-workers
  • To be Net savvy and passionate about social media

Desirable Skills
  • Has experience using a variety of social media, analytics and brand monitoring tools e.g. Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Webtrends, Omniture, Coremetrics, Radian6
  • Prior experience with the creation and implementation of Facebook Custom Apps
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency in using/querying SQL databases


Sr. Account Executive

Reports to Director of Sales
Located in Burlington, MA

Description:

The Sales team at Awareness is seeking an aggressive Sr. Account Executive to join our highly successful team within the Social Media Management Software space.  The Sr. Account Executive position is responsible for successfully selling the Awareness value proposition to Enterprise accounts within a named account list and the current customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Penetrate list of named accounts (Enterprise)
  • Qualify new business opportunities over the phone, plus travel
  • Close new business consistently above quota level
  • Become an expert in social media marketing and the Awareness value proposition
  • Serves as a brand enthusiast for Awareness’ suite of products and solutions
  • Manage follow up activities on highly qualified inbound inquiries
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stake holders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Services, and other departments to implement and execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and or releases new products
  • As a highly visible team player within the business, bring best in class thinking, strategies and ideas that align to our firm values, unique culture and vision for the future.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of selling to Enterprise Accounts at the VP/C-Level
  • Experience within a sales team that produces and exceeds their goals consistently. Such experience within a start up environment is highly desired.
  • Candidates MUST be a Top Producer (as defined by production results that put you at the top 5% of your peers) and / or, Over Quota / President's Club type
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of selling experience operating within a software, web technologies or innovative online product environment. SaaS experience preferred.
  • Experienced sales dynamo conducting sophisticated business interactions and initiating relationships
  • Experience selling to marketers and marketing departments is required.  It is assumed candidates have selling experience at the executive level
  • An individual with a sharp focus on the goals at hand, who will carry the vision of the department forth but also operate within the context of the overall firm objectives
  • A bright, street savvy and emotionally intelligent sales executive
  • A high work ethic, energy, passion, sense of humor, compassion, enthusiasm and a record of success is an great fit to our environment
  • Superior communications skills, well rounded in all aspects of business development methodology with exceptional closing & relationship management skills
  • Strong skills within the following programs: MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and proficient in Salesforce.com
  • Social Media experience is HIGHLY preferred


Business Development Representative

Reports to Director of Sales
Located in Burlington, MA

Description:

The Sales team at Awareness is seeking an aggressive Business Development Representative to join our highly successful team within the Social Media Management Software space.  The Business Development Representative position is responsible for successfully positioning the Awareness value proposition to inbound inquiries over the phone.

Responsibilities:

  • Make 80+ outbound phone calls per day
  • Qualify new business opportunities over the phone
  • Set appointment with qualified opportunities for the Inside Sales Team
  • Become an expert in social media marketing and the Awareness value proposition
  • Serves as a brand enthusiast for Awareness’ suite of products and solutions
  • Manage follow up activities on all inquiries
  • Build relationships with prospects and internal stake holders to grow new business
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Services, and Product departments to implement and execute sales strategy as the firm introduces enhancements to existing solutions and or releases new products
  • As a visible team player within the business, bring best in class thinking, strategies and ideas that align to our firm values, unique culture and vision for the future.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
