Business Development Manager

The Opportunity

Our business development efforts encompass a variety of activities for the company - developing relationships with new technology and channel partners, creating new markets, and establishing relationships with and companies that can expand our capabilities.

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for calling on, building, and deepening relationships with partners and their customers. In this role, you will report to the VP of New Business.


  • Develop new channel and strategic partner opportunities for Awareness
  • Work strategically with Awareness partners to develop new projects
  • Work with agencies and other partners to help them define social media initiatives for their clients
  • Develop and execute on a partner/territory strategy
  • Provide reporting on activity and partner development
  • Provide partner insight to Product Management and Engineering


  • Experience selling web and digital media solutions
  • A solution/consultative approach to BD/Sales
  • Strong relationships within one or more of our target partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and passion around current web technologies and Web 2.0 trends
  • Must be comfortable calling on all levels of an organization
  • Detail oriented, comfortable working independently, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies
  • 2-3+ years of successful Business Development/Sales experience
