Nora Ganim Barnes, Ph.D. & Eric Mattson over at UMass Dartmouth have just completed a study of the Inc. 500 and their use of social media (the Inc. 500 is a list of the fastest-growing private companies as named by Inc. Magazine).

adoption rate of social media when comparing the fastest growing
companies and the highest revenue companies.
